Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton 2010) – I chose to use this film as my focus film as it a film which Johnny Depp plays a main part in and has a lot of recognition. It also is his latest fantast film so it shows his most up to date acting.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Tim Burton 2005) – This was chosen as one of my related films as again it includes Johnny Depp where he plays a similar strange character and is easy to compare to Alice in Wonderland.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (Gore Verbinski 2003) –Again Johnny Depp plays a main role in this film but unlike the other two films his character is not very similar so this would give me chance to compare the different characters Johnny Depp plays.

I used this interview as it about Pirates of the Caribbean one of my related films. In this interview Johnny tells us some information on his character and his inspiration behind it being Keith Richards.
